Beals and Thomas, Inc. was founded in 1984 by John Thomas and Lawrence Beals. The two partners had their own vision for

fulfilling an emerging need for responsible land planning, design and permitting services. B+T promptly established a reputation for providing highly responsive, thorough and accurate services and our client base expanded rapidly. Since our founding we are proud to have provided services to major corporations, institutions, municipalities, real estate developers, architects, and attorneys. We are also proud to still be serving many of our early clients, and to have provided the opportunity for many employees to establish their careers.

We have a portfolio of over 3,000 projects, each of which represents in one way or another our commitment to support our clients’ visions with our expertise. 

Our services in various communities have afforded us a valuable reputation with municipal, state and federal officials. We have completed projects that required challenging design solutions with expedited schedules and constraints. Through it all, we credit our staff, whose depth of knowledge and dedication have collectively sustained a level of expertise that serves as the foundation for our success.
