Since 2001, Beals and Thomas, Inc. has played an integral part in the comprehensive evaluations of the Fay School property, addressing both the long- and short-term master planning goals of the school. B+T has performed an array of planning, permitting, engineering, and landscape architecture services to undertake athletic field improvements, land planning and acquisitions, drainage and stormwater management, a sewer system upgrade, and site access and circulation modifications for the Fay School.

Environmental initiatives and sustainability have become a central focus of the Fay School. B+T has supported this outlook through the study of renewable energy options and wastewater recycling alternatives. The school’s commitment to being an environmental role model has been emphasized with the construction of its new wastewater treatment facility, permitted by B+T. Low impact development design through civil engineering services has also helped the school obtain LEED Gold Certification for two newly built cottage dorms.
