Old Swamp River Dam Removal

Today, B+T joined a site walk with the Weymouth Herring Wardens, Town of Weymouth officials, including representatives from Mayor Mike Molisse’s office, and the Massachusetts Division of Ecological Restoration (DER), to highlight the Old Swamp River Dam Removal project and the important value these projects bring to our communities.


Dam removal projects like this support ecological restoration, improve public safety, enhance climate resilience, and reconnect river systems for the benefit of both people and wildlife. B+T is proud to have supported this effort through survey, design, permitting, and construction administration.


We’re grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the Town of Weymouth and DER on work that will create lasting environmental and community benefits.
