From field to park! Congratulations to the City of Waltham for the successful transformation of Cornelia Warren Field to Cornelia Warren Park, which now includes not only an upgraded softball field, but also a state-of-the-art playground, traditional and “Ninja Warrior” inspired fitness equipment, walking path, covered picnic area, and large synthetic turf putting green! Aptly named after Cornelia Warren, who was a social philanthropist well known for her investment in community improvement projects and encouragement of health and fitness activities for the general public, this park now serves more people by offering many unique features that could not be found at the City’s other properties.
