In October, B+T joined several firms at UMass Boston for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Poster Session — one of many great events organized by Haley & Aldrich this fall to connect students with industry professionals.
Robert Kennedy, EIT, represented B+T and the civil engineering discipline, meeting with 150–200 students eager to learn more about STEM careers. Rob shared insights about his journey into civil engineering, his college experience, and what a typical day looks like in our field. He also highlighted some of B+T’s exciting projects and the wide range of career paths our company offers.
Events like these are a great reminder of why we love what we do — inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals and helping students discover how their interests can turn into rewarding careers.
