Chelsea City Manager Jay Ash, MA Secretary of Housing and Economic Development Greg Bialecki and MA Senator Sal DiDomenico visited the One North of Boston construction site on April 25th to award a $1.5M MassWorks infrastructure grant that will fund infrastructure upgrades within adjacent city streets to support the One North of Boston residential development project.  Bialecki stated that the Commonwealth’s $1.5M  investment will enable $40M of private investment being made by Chelsea North, Gate Residential and East Boston Savings Bank.  Bialecki said that the Commonwealth recognizes its obligation to fund public infrastructure improvements that will support economic development and job creation.
