In 2011, the Town of Lincoln, Massachusetts voted to renovate their Town Hall. The original structure was built in 1908 as the new Center School. Beals and Thomas, Inc. provided site planning design and construction administration assistance for the renovation of the building. Parking and pedestrian circulation was redesigned to achieve ADA compliance and site utilities were upgraded, including a new walled in mechanical enclosure for emergency power generation. Stormwater management enhancements were provided to enhance stormwater runoff prior to discharge adjacent to a bordering vegetated wetland. Beals and Thomas, Inc. assisted the Town of Lincoln with pursuing LEED® Silver Certification for the project, which has been completed. Town operations have relocated back into the newly refurbished Town Hall building.
