-10/24/2011 MassDEP ANNOUNCES DRAFT ACTION PLAN FOR REGULATORY REFORM The goal of the proposed reform is to streamline the regulations, policies and practices in order to be adequately accommodated by the reduced resources of the department, without sacrificing the state's high level of environmental protection. In addition, many of the reforms help to encourage clean and renewable energy projects by eliminating certain permitting obstacles. Public Comments are due November 21.
