With warm weather upon us here in New England, we’re sure that many golfers have eagerly dusted off their clubs and made plans to get out to one of the many courses in the area. B+T has spent the past several months assisting courses across Massachusetts with various projects to be ready for the flurry of golf enthusiasts hitting the links this season. Projects that we have recently been involved with include:
- Leo J. Martin Golf Course Driving Range, Weston – Design of the reconstruction of the driving range and practice facility at this DCR-owned course.
- Cohasset Golf Club, Cohasset – Survey services and wetlands permitting for a new short game practice area and design of drainage improvements throughout the course.
- Brae Burn Country Club, Newton – Design and permitting of vegetation management areas and swimming pool renovations.
- Franklin Country Club, Franklin – Permitting associated with clubhouse improvements.
The B+T staff is experienced with permitting and design strategies that strike a balance between open space conservation, turf maintenance requirements and active recreation that define golf facilities. We hope that you have the chance to enjoy the efforts of our staff and those of the many fine people who made our designs a reality.
